Charging Systems: Removal

Remove drive belt. Loosen the pivot bolt, adjusting lock bolt and adjusting bolt, and remove the drive belt.
1. Torque:
  1. Pivot Bolt: 56 N.m (570 kgf.cm, 41 ft. lbf)
  2. Lock Bolt: 18 N.m (180 kgf.cm, 13 ft. lbf)

Remove generator.
1. Disconnect the generator connector.
2. Remove the nut, and disconnect the generator wire.
3. Disconnect the wire harness from the clip.
4. Remove the pivot bolt, plate washer, adjusting lock bolt and generator.
