Description & Operation

The remote keyless entry system allows doors to be locked and unlocked by low-power electrical waves emitted from a hand-held transmitter. Pushing UNLOCK button once will deactivate the theft deterrent system and unlock driver's door. Pushing UNLOCK button again within 3 seconds will unlock the other doors. If doors are not opened within 30 seconds, all the doors will automatically relock.

The wireless door lock ECU is protected by ECU-B1 fuse (10-amp) located in the engine compartment junction block, and the GAUGE fuse (15-amp) located in the passenger-side junction block.
