Ignition Coil: Replacement

  1. Remove V-Bank cover and engine room side covers.
  2. Remove intake air connector pipe.
  3. Remove engine oil level gauge and guide.
  4. Remove ignition coils.
    1. Disconnect the 8 ignition coil connectors.
    2. Remove the bolt, and pull out the ignition coil. Remove the 8 ignition coils.

  5. Reinstall new ignition coils.
    1. Connect a new ignition coil to the spark plug, and attach the ignition coil to the cylinder head cover, and install the bolt. Install the 8 ignition coils.

      Torque  : 7.5 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf)

    2. Connect the 8 ignition coil connectors.
  6. Install engine oil level gauge and guide.
  7. Reinstall intake air connector pipe.
  8. Reinstall V-Bank cover and engine room side covers.
