Quarter Power Windows: Replacement

NOTE: COMPONENTS: See COMPONENTS 
  1. REMOVE MOVE ROOF PANEL TO HALF 
    1. Referring to the manual operation procedures, move the roof panel to half.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY 
    1. Pull up the front portion of the seat cushion assembly, then remove it.

    NOTE: In the case, hold the base of the clip up to prevent the cushion frame from being distorted.
  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate cover.

      NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    2. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
  4. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and wind deflector board assembly.
  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate.

      NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    2. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
  6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat headrest assembly.
    2. Use the same manner described above to the other side

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and rear seat back assembly.

  8. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSY RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate assy RH.
    NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  9. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, release the 4 claws and remove the front seat outer belt garnish.
      NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Remove the 6 screws and clip.
    3. Disengage the 4 clips, then remove the quarter trim panel RH.

  10. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP RH 
    1. Using a clip remover, disengage the 4 clips.
    2. Remove the center pillar upper end weatherstrip RH.

  11. REMOVE QUARTER BELT MOULDING RH 
    1. Using a moulding remover, remove the quarter belt moulding RH.

  12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP 
    1. Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clips.
    2. Remove the front part of luggage compartment door weatherstrip.

  13. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSY RH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the connector and grommet.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and 4 nuts.
    4. Remove the quarter window assy RH.

  14. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW STOP 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 upper front door window stop.

  15. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and power window regulator motor RH.

  16. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSY RH 
    1. As shown in the illustration, mark the 3 nuts position on the quarter window assy.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and quarter window assy RH.

  17. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW ASSY RH 
    1. Install the glass and 3 nuts so that the nut is in marked position.

    NOTE: When replacing the bracket with a new one, mark the bracket position on the panel assy side.

  18. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH 
  19. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW STOP 
  20. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW ASSY RH 
  21. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP 
  22. INSTALL QUARTER BELT MOULDING RH 
  23. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP RH 
  24. ADJUST QUARTER WINDOW ASSY RH 

    (See  ADJUSTMENT  ) 

  25. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT RH 
  26. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSY RH 
  27. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 

    Torque: 

    Bolt: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

    Nut: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 63 in.lbf)
