REPLACEMENT INTERVALS (ES300, GS300, IS300, GS430, LS430 & SC430)

(1) Manufacturer does not provide specific time or mileage recommendations for valve adjustment. If engine has been disassembled or noise exists from excessive valve clearance, valve clearance must be adjusted.

(1) Used belt is a belt in operation at least 5 minutes.
(2) Automatic belt tensioner is used. Adjustment is not required. Belt must be replaced if arrow mark on automatic belt tensioner is not within area "A". See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
