Driver Window

Disconnect power window motor 6-pin electrical harness connector. Connect Toyota electrical tester (DVOM) positive lead to terminal No. 3 and negative lead to terminal No. 5 of power window motor. Apply battery positive voltage to terminal No. 1 and battery negative voltage to terminal No. 2 of power window motor. See STEP 1 in illustration. See Fig 1. Pulse should be generated while power window motor turns. Reverse polarity of battery leads. See STEP 2 in illustration. See Fig 1. Pulse should be generated with power window motor turning in opposite direction. If pulse is not generated as specified, replace power window motor. See POWER WINDOW MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
