Disconnect power window motor 6-pin electrical harness connector. Connect Toyota electrical tester (DVOM) positive lead to terminal No. 3 and negative lead to terminal No. 5 of power window motor. Apply battery positive voltage to terminal No. 1 and battery negative voltage to terminal No. 2 of power window motor. See STEP 1 in illustration. See Fig 1. Pulse should be generated while power window motor turns. Reverse polarity of battery leads. See STEP 2 in illustration. See Fig 1. Pulse should be generated with power window motor turning in opposite direction. If pulse is not generated as specified, replace power window motor.
