Section 331 (Engine Control System): ECM: Replacement

  1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  2. REMOVE ECM 
    1. Disconnect the 5 ECM connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the ECM.
    3. Remove the 2 screws and the ECM bracket.
    4. Remove the 2 screws and the ECM bracket No. 2.
  3. INSTALL ECM 
    1. Install the ECM bracket No. 2 with the 2 screws.

      Torque: 3.0 N.m (31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lbf) 

    2. Install the ECM bracket with the 2 screws.

      Torque: 3.0 N.m (31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lbf) 

    3. Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf) 

    4. Connect the 5 ECM connectors.
  4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSY
