Throttle Body ASSY: Replacement

DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See ENGINE COOLANT )
REMOVE V-BANK COVER
1. Remove the 2 nuts and V-bank cover.
REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1
REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE
1. Disconnect the air hose and ventilation hose.
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Loosen the 2 hose clamps and remove the intake air connector pipe.
REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSY
1. Disconnect the water by-pass hose and water by-pass hose No. 7.
2. Disconnect the connector.
3. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, throttle body and gasket.

INSTALL THROTTLE BODY ASSY
1. Install a new gasket and the throttle body with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
  Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
2. Connect the water by-pass hose and water by-pass hose No. 7.
3. Connect the connector.

INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE
1. Install the intake air connector pipe with the bolt and 2 hose clamps.
  Torque:
  
  4.0 N.m (41 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf) for hose clamp
  
  5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf) for bolt
2. Connect the air hose and ventilation hose.
INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1
INSTALL V-BANK COVER
Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
REFILL ENGINE COOLANT (See ENGINE COOLANT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See INSPECTION )
INSPECT THROTTLE BODY FUNCTION (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
