For Vehicles Equipped With Traction Control (TRAC) System

When testing with a 2-wheel drum tester such as a speedometer tester, a combination tester of the speedometer and bracket a chassis dynamometer, or when jacking up the front wheels and driving the wheels, always turn the TRAC system OFF beforehand via the TRAC OFF switch before testing.

NOTE: TRAC system OFF condition can be confirmed by the "TRAC OFF" warning indicator lamp in the combination meter. 
  1. Confirm TRAC system is OFF
    1. Press the TRAC cut switch (TRAC OFF) to turn off the TRAC system.
    2. Check if the TRAC OFF indicator lamp illuminates.

      HINT:

      The SLIP indicator lamp should always operate right after the engine is restarted.

    3. Begin testing.
    4. Press the TRAC cut switch to turn on the TRAC system and check that the TRAC OFF indicator lamp turns off.

    HINT:

    The SLIP indicator lamp blinks when the TRAC system is operating.
