Mayday Switch ASSY: Replacement

REMOVE BOX PANEL NO. 3
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the box panel No.3.
HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

REMOVE MOBILEPHONE BRACKET
1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the console box carpet.
3. Remove the lower console box cover.
4. Pull the mobilephone bracket in the arrow mark directions shown in Fig 3 and remove it.

5. Remove the tape that is attached to the wire harness of the mayday switch assembly.
NOTE: Carefully remove the tape.

REMOVE MAYDAY SWITCH ASSY
1. Remove the 6 screws and console box rear.

2. Remove the tape that is attached to the wire harness of the mayday switch assembly.
  NOTE: Carefully remove the tape.

3. Remove the 6 screws and telephone switch assembly.

INSTALL MAYDAY SWITCH ASSY
1. Pass the connector of the mayday switch assembly through the hole of the box door.
2. Install the mayday switch assembly with the 6 screws.

3. Install the wire harness of the mayday switch assembly and fix it with tape as shown in Fig 9.

4. Install the console box rear with the 6 screws.

INSTALL MOBILEPHONE BRACKET
1. Install the wire harness of the mayday switch assembly to the mobilephone bracket and fix it with tape, as shown in Fig 11.

2. Install the mobilephone bracket.
3. Install the lower console box cover.
4. Install the console box carpet.
5. Connect the connector.

INSPECT MAYDAY SWITCH ASSY
1. Check that the wire harness of the mayday switch assembly moves smoothly.
