Inspection Procedure
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
- Disconnect the connectors from the seat belt control ECU and front seat outer belt assy LH.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU - VOLTAGE TABLE .
Standard:
FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU - VOLTAGE TABLETester Connection Condition Specified Condition S64-1 - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V S64-2 - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V S64-1 - S64-2 Always 1 MΩ or Higher Courtesy of © TOYOTA, LICENSE AGREEMENT TMS1002
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY LH
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY LH - VOLTAGE TABLE when the ignition switch is in ON position.
NOTE: Be sure to inspect the correct connectors.Standard:
FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY LH - VOLTAGE TABLETester Connection Condition Specified Condition S64-1 - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V S64-2 - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V NG: REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY LH (See step 8 in REPLACEMENT )
OK: REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU (See step 10 in REPLACEMENT )
