Power Adjustable Pedals Operation

Current is always applied to TERMINAL (A) 4 and TERMINAL (B) 5 of the adjustable pedal ECU so that the ECU is always ready to operate.

By pushing the adjustable pedal SW to the "Pedal FWD" position, a signal is input into TERMINAL (A) 5 of the adjustable pedal ECU. Based on the signal input, the ECU begins to operate and the current applied to TERMINAL (B) 5 will flow from TERMINAL (B) 1 of the ECU to the following terminals in sequence: TERMINAL 2, TERMINAL 1 (Adjustable pedal motor), TERMINAL (B) 3 (Adjustable pedal ECU), TERMINAL (A) 6, and TERMINAL GROUND.

While the adjustable pedal SW is in the "Pedal FWD" position, the adjustable pedal motor continues revolving so that the pedals move forward.

By pushing the adjustable pedal SW to the "Pedal REV" position, the signal is input to TERMINAL (A) 2 of the adjustable pedal ECU to slide the pedal rearward. By the signal input, the current applied from the ECU to the motor will flow in the reverse to the pedal forward movement: from TERMINAL (B) 3 (Adjustable pedal ECU) to TERMINAL 1, TERMINAL 2 (Adjustable pedal motor), and TERMINAL (B) 1 (Adjustable pedal ECU).

The adjustable pedal system has the optional memory system that can store the pedal position and restore it from any pedal position to the stored pedal position by the driving position memory SW.
