Throttle W/ Motor Body ASSY (2UZ-FE): Replacement

DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (SEE COOLANT (2UZ-FE) )
REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSY
1. Remove the 2 nuts and V-bank cover sub-assy.
REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSY
1. Disconnect the vacuum hoses (for the P/S idle-up and fuel pressure regulator) and ventilation hose.
2. Remove the air cleaner hose assy.
REMOVE THROTTLE W/ MOTOR BODY ASSY
1. Disconnect the water by-pass hose, water by-pass hose No. 7 and the throttle position sensor connector.

2. Remove the 3 bolts and nut.

3. Remove the throttle body and the throttle body gasket.
INSTALL THROTTLE W/ MOTOR BODY ASSY
1. Install a new gasket and the throttle body with the 3 bolts and nut.
  Torque: 14 N.m (143 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)
2. Connect the water by-pass hose, water by-pass hose No. 7 and throttle position sensor connector.
INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSY
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (SEE COOLANT (2UZ-FE) )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (SEE COOLING SYSTEM (2UZ-FE) )
INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSY
1. Install the V-bank cover sub-assy with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 7.5 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf)
