Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Measure the resistance between terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

      HINT:

      • This is the inspection procedure of the inner belt switch for the tension reducer.
      • The circuit of the seat belt warning or airbag system cannot be inspected by this procedure.

    Resistance 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    4 - 5 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 ohms
    4 - 5 Seat belt is unfastened 10 k ohms or higher

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Measure the resistance between terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.
