Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW LOCK SWITCH 
    1. Turn the window lock switch OFF. Then operate the remote UP/DOWN function of the power window regulator master switch assy, passenger door and rear door windows. Check if the function operates normally.

    OK: Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally. 

    NG: Go to step 2

    OK: Go to next step 

    END 

  2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the passenger side power window manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

    NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS 
    1. Disconnect the D25, F17, R13 and R14 ECU connectors.
    2. Disconnect the DG and DI J/B connectors.
    3. Disconnect the PE and PI J/B connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard 

    RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    D25-25 (WLS1) - DI-21 Below 1 Ω
    F17-16 (WLSW) - PI-2 Below 1 Ω
    R13-24 (PCTI) - DI-19 Below 1 Ω
    R14-24 (PCTI) - PI-13 Below 1 Ω
    DG-9 - PE-18 Below 1 Ω
    D25-25 (WLS1) or DI-21 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
    F17-16 (WLSW) or PI-2 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
    R13-24 (PCTI) or DI-19 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
    R14-24 (PCTI) or PI-13 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
    DG-9 or PE-18 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
    DI-21 - DG-9 Below 1 Ω
    DI-21 - DI-19 Below 1 Ω
    PE-18 - PI-2 Below 1 Ω
    PE-18 - PI-13 Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
