Terminals Of Ecu

  1. POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the 15 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of each terminal according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E (I5-12) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      B (I5-11) - E (I5-12) V-W-B Power supply Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the 15 switch connector and reset the power window motor.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      D (I5-15) - E (I5-12) R-W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window switch OFF → DOWN (Manual operation) 10 to 14 V → 0 V
      U (I5-2O) - E (I5-12) G-W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window switch OFF → UP (Manual operation) 10 to 14 V → 0 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW SWITCH (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the H6 switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E (H6-5) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the H6 switch connector and reset the power window motor.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      A (H6-4) - E (H6-5) L-W-B Power window motor AUTO UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger side power window fully open → UP (AUTO UP position) → fully closed 10 to 14 V → 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      Power window motor AUTO DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger side power window fully closed → DOWN (AUTO UP position) → fully open 10 to 14 V → 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      D (H6-10) - E (H6-5) R-W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger side power window switch OFF → DOWN (Manual operation) 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      U (H6-2) - E (H6-5) G-W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger side power window switch OFF → UP (Manual operation) 0 V → 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW SWITCH (REAR LH SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the K4 switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E (K4-5) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the K4 switch connector and reset the power window motor.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      A (K4-4) - E (K4-5) L-W-B Power window motor AUTO UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH side power window fully open → UP (AUTO UP position) → fully closed 10 to 14 V → 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      Power window motor AUTO DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), roar LH side power window fully closed → DOWN (AUTO UP position) → fully open 10 to 14 V → 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      D (K4-10) - E (K4-5) R-W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH side power window switch OFF → DOWN (Manual operation) 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      U (K4-2) - E (K4-5) G-W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH side power window switch OFF → UP (Manual operation) 0 V → 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW SWITCH (REAR RH SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the J4 switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E (J4-5) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the J4 switch connector and reset the power window motor.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      D (J4-10) - E (J4-5) R-W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear RH side power window switch OFF → DOWN (Manual operation) 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      U (J4-2) - E (J4-5) G-W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear RH side power window switch OFF → UP (Manual operation) 0 V → 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (DRIVER SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the 14 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      E (I4-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage

      B (I4-2) - Body ground W - Body ground Power supply Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

  6. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the H5 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E (H5-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage

      B (H5-2) - Body ground V - Body ground Power supply Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

  7. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (REAR LH SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the K3 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      E (K3-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

  8. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (REAR RH SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the J3 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
