Throttle Body: Installation

INSTALL THROTTLE BODY
1. Install a new gasket and the throttle body with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
  Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)

2. Connect the 2 water bypass hoses.
3. Connect the connector and wire.
4. Connect the PCV hose.

INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE
1. Install the connector pipe with the bolt and 2 hose clamps.

  Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 ft.*lbf) for hose clamps
  
  5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 ft.*lbf) for bolt
2. Connect the air hose and No. 1 ventilation hose.
INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR )
INSTALL V-BANK COVER
1. Install the V-bank cover with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR )
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (See CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR )
INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See COOLANT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS
1. Check for engine coolant leaks (see COOLING SYSTEM ).
