Inspection Procedure
- CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH
- Using the intelligent tester, check operation of the master switch using the DATA LIST.
Standard
DATA LIST in D-DOOR ECU

OK: Go to next step
- Using the intelligent tester, check operation of the master switch using the DATA LIST.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH - POWER WINDOW MOTOR)

- Disconnect the D18 master switch connector.
- Remove the front door trim LH.
- Disconnect the P10 power window motor connector.
- Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTerminal No. Specified Condition D18-11 - P10-1 Below 1 Ω D18-1 - P10-2 Below 1 Ω D18-1 - Body ground No continuity D18-11 - Body ground No continuity - Reference:
Check operation of the power window motor (driver side).
- Remove the motor.
- Apply battery voltage to the connector between terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the motor rotates smoothly.
NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to the terminals except 1 and 2.Standard
TERMINALS AND MOTOR GEAR ROTATION REFERENCETerminal No. Motor Gear Rotation Battery positive voltage → 2
Battery negative voltage → 1Clockwise Battery positive voltage → 1
Battery negative voltage → 2Counterclockwise
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE)
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR GROUND)

- Remove the master switch (the connector is connected).
- Check the continuity between terminal 2 and the body ground.
Standard:
Below 1 →
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR POWER SOURCE)

- Check the voltage between the terminals.
Standard voltage
