Customize Parameters

  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (REFERENCE) 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure the function(s) can be customized.
    • Be sure to make note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn ON the intelligent tester or Techstream.
    4. Enter the following menus:
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: CUSTOMIZE /
      2. Techstream - Select: Customize Setting /
    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      1. Intelligent tester

        POWER WINDOW: 

        POWER WINDOW OPERATION

        Display (Item) Default Contents Setting
        UP/DOOR KEY ON Function that raises all power windows when, with engine switch off, key is used to hold driver door key cylinder to lock position for more than 2.3 seconds ON/OFF
        DOWN/DOOR KEY ON Function that lowers all power windows when, with engine switch off, key is used to hold driver door key cylinder to unlock position for more than 2.3 seconds ON/OFF
        DOWN/WIRELESS ON Function that lowers all power windows when, with engine switch off, unlock switch on key is pressed and held for more than 3.0 seconds ON/OFF
        UP/SMART ON Function that raises all power windows when, with engine switch off, entry lock switch on driver side door outer handle is pressed and held for more than 3.0 seconds ON/OFF
      2. Techstream

        Power Window: 

        POWER WINDOW OPERATION

        Display (Item) Default Contents Setting
        Door Key P/W Up ON Function that raises all power windows when, with engine switch off, key is used to hold driver door key cylinder to lock position for more than 2.3 seconds ON/OFF
        Door Key P/W Down ON Function that lowers all power windows when, with engine switch off, key is used to hold driver door key cylinder to unlock position for more than 2.3 seconds ON/OFF
        P/W Down W/ Transmit ON Function that lowers all power windows when, with engine switch off, unlock switch on key is pressed and held for more than 3.0 seconds ON/OFF
        P/W Up W/ Smart ON Function that raises all power windows when, with engine switch off, entry lock switch on driver side door outer handle is pressed and held for more than 3.0 seconds ON/OFF
