Rear Power Window Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance: 

      POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (UP)-5 (GND) Manual UP operation Below 1 Ω
      10 (DOWN)-5 (GND) Manual DOWN operation Below 1 Ω
      4 (AUTO) - 5 (GND) AUTO UP / DOWN operation Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.

    2. Check that the LED illuminates.
    3. Apply battery voltage to the power window regulator switch and check that the LED illuminates.

      OK : 

      MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART VOLTAGE

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 8 (LED)
      Battery negative (-) → 5 (GND)      		 LED illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.
