  1. FAIL-SAFE OPERATION 
    FAIL-SAFE CHART

    Malfunction Result
    ABS system Prohibit ABS, BA, TRAC and VSC control
    BA system Prohibit ABS, BA, TRAC and VSC control
    EBD system Prohibit EBD, ABS, BA, TRAC and VSC control
    TRAC system Prohibit TRAC and VSC control
    VSC system Prohibit TRAC and VSC control

    HINT:

    • A malfunction in either the ABS or BA system will result in an identical fail-safe operation, with ABS, BA, EBD, TRAC and VSC system control prohibited.
    • If a control is prohibited due to a malfunction during its operation, the control will be cut off gradually so that vehicle stability will not change suddenly.
