Customize Parameters

HINT:

The following can be customized.

NOTE:
  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

    THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM REFERENCE

    DISPLAY (ITEM) DEFAULT CONTENTS SETTING
    PASSIVE MODE (Passive Mode) OFF PASSIVE MODE is the function to set the theft deterrent system 30 seconds after having the driver's door closed from opening condition by removing the key from the ignition key cylinder. In PASSIVE MODE, under the condition that the theft deterrent system is set and after opening either one of the doors, if you do not perform the following operations within 15 seconds, the theft deterrent system will operate by judging the condition as a theft.
    • Press the transmitter unlock button.
    • Insert the key into the door key cylinder on the driver's or the passenger's door and turn it to unlock side.
    • Insert the key to the ignition key cylinder and turn the ignition switch ON.
    • Open the trunk with the transmitter.
    • Open the trunk with the key.

    WARNING (HORN) (#) (Warning (horn)) ON Function to make the warning by the vehicle horns and security horn available. ON / OFF
    ENTRY DELAY (#) (Entry delay time) 14s Function to change the entry delay time (period before starting the warning) by the passive mode. 0 s / 14 s / 30 s
    WARN BY GLS SEN (#) (Warning by glass broken sensor) ON Function to turn ON / OFF the glass breakage sensor. This function is only for vehicles with a glass breakage sensor. ON / OFF
    INTRUSION SEN (#) (Intrusion Sensor) ON Function to turn ON / OFF of the Intrusion sensor. This function is only for vehicles with an intrusion sensor. ON / OFF
  3. LIGHTING SYSTEM 

    ILLUMINATED ENTRY 

    LIGHTING SYSTEM SPECIFICATION

    DISPLAY (ITEM) DEFAULT CONTENTS SETTING
    LIGHTING TIME
    (Lighting Time)    		 15s Function to change the lighting time after closing the door. It will quickly fade out in case of turning the ignition ON. 7.5 s/15 s/30 s
    ILLUMI SYSTEM
    (Operation of illumination)    		 ON Function to light up the step light, center console light and door inside handle light when one of the following occurs: the ignition switch is turned ON, a door is unlocked or a door is opened. ON / OFF
    LIGHT CONTROL
    (Light control)    		 ON Function to light up the step light and door inside handle light when the ignition switch is ON and the shift position is not P. ON / OFF
    I/L ON / UNLOCK
    (Interior light ON w/ door key unlock)    		 ON Function to light up the interior light*, ignition light and step light when unlocking with the door key cylinder.
    *: Interior light comes on when the interior light switch is at the DOOR position.    		 ON / OFF
    I/L ON/ACC OFF
    (Illumination system with ACC OFF)    		 ON Function to light the interior light* and door courtesy light when the ignition switch is operated from ACC to LOCK.
    *: Interior light comes on when the interior light switch is in the DOOR position.    		 ON / OFF

    Sensitivity adjustment can hardly be confirmed. Please check by customer's actual driving.

    DISP EX OFF SEN (#)
    (Display Extinction Release Luminous Intensity)    		 NORMAL Function to cancel changing the brightness of lowering the lights such as the indicator light of the combination meter, A/C indicator light, clock. DARK2 / DARK1 / NORMAL / LIGHT1 / LIGHT2
    SENSITIVITY
    (Turn ON luminous intensity)    		 NORMAL Function to adjust the sensitivity of the lighting illumination. DARK2 / DARK1 / NORMAL/ LIGHT1 / LIGHT2
    LIGHT OFF DELAY
    (Light Auto OFF Delay)    		 30 s Function to continue lighting the headlights for a certain period of time after closing all the doors with the ignition switch turned from OFF to ON under the condition that the light control switch is at HEAD or AUTO with the headlights ON. OFF / 30 s / 60 s / 90 s

  4. POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM 

    DOOR LOCK 

    POWER DOOR LOCK SPECIFICATION

    UNLOCK / PARK (#)
    (Unlock w/ IG ON, shift P, speed 0)    		 OFF Function to unlock the doors by shifting the lever to P from a position other than P when the ignition is ON. ON / OFF
    ALL UNLK / OPN-CL (#)
    (All unlock w/ D door open-close)    		 OFF Function to unlock all the other doors when opening the driver's door within 10 seconds after turning the ignition switch from ON to OFF. ON / OFF
    UNLK / KEY TWICE
    (Unlock w/ 2 times D key operation)    		 ON Function to unlock only the driver's door by doing the key operation once and to unlock all the doors by doing it twice. In the OFF setting, operating the key "UNLOCK" once unlocks all the doors. ON / OFF
    AUTO LOCK
    (Auto Lock)    		 OFF Function to lock the door when the vehicle reaches a certain speed. ON / OFF

    (Wireless Door Lock Buzzer Volume)    		 MID2 To adjust the volume of the wireless buzzer. OFF / MIN / MIDI/ MID2 /MID3 / MAX
    WIRELESS OPER
    (Wireless Door Lock Control Function)    		 ON ON / OFF of the wireless door lock function. ON / OFF
    ALARM FUNCTION
    (Panic Function)    		 ON Function to operate the theft deterrent system by continually pressing the lock button of the transmitter for 2.5 seconds. If there is a panic button, press the panic button instead of the lock button. ON / OFF
    UNLOCK / 2OPER
    (2 times operation wireless unlock)    		 ON Function to unlock the driver's door by pressing the unlock button of the transmitter once and to unlock all the doors by pressing it twice. In the OFF setting, pressing one time unlocks all the doors. ON / OFF
    AUTO LOCK DELAY
    (Auto Lock Time)    		 30 s To change the time until re-locking after unlocking with the wireless door lock function. 30 s / 60 s
    HAZARD ANS BACK
    (Hazard answer back of the wireless)    		 ON Function to light up all the turn signal lights once when pressing the transmitter lock button and twice when pressing the unlock button under the condition that the engine hood, trunk and all the doors are closed. ON / OFF

    (Door key linked P/W UP)    		 ON Function to raise all the door windows manually by holding the driver's side door key to the lock side for 1.5 seconds when the ignition switch is OFF. ON / OFF
    DOWN / DOOR KEY
    (Door key linked P/W DOWN)    		 ON Function to lower all the door windows manually by holding the driver's side door key to the unlock side for 1.5 seconds when the ignition switch is OFF. ON / OFF
    DOWN / WIRELESS
    (P/W DOWN w/ transmitter)    		 ON Function to lower all the door windows manually by pressing on the transmitter unlock button for 2.5 seconds when ignition switch is OFF. ON / OFF

    (Door key linked CLOSE)    		 ON Function to close the sliding roof manually linking with the power window if holding the driver side door key for 2.5 seconds or more to the lock side when the ignition switch is OFF. ON / OFF
    OPEN / WIRELESS(1)
    (Wireless key linked OPEN)    		 ON Function to open the sliding roof manually linking with the power window if pressing on the transmitter unlock button for 2.5 seconds or more when the ignition switch is OFF. ON / OFF
    DOOR KEY OPER
    (Door key linked operation)    		 SLIDE Function to select the opening direction of the manual opening of the sliding roof linking with the power window if holding the driver side door key for 2.5 seconds or more to the unlock side when the ignition switch is OFF. SLIDE / TILT
    WIRELESS OPER
    (Wireless linked operation)    		 SLIDE Function to select the opening direction of the manual opening of the sliding roof linking with the power window if pressing on the transmitter unlock button for 2.5 seconds or more when the ignition switch is OFF. SLIDE / TILT
    (1) If the setting of the same operation of the power window is OFF, the sliding roof does not operate even if the setting of the sliding roof is ON.
