Customize Parameters

  1. POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The following can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • Be sure to record the current value before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting, be careful as customizing could turn off the function. (Example: If the wireless operation does not function, check that it has not been turned off by customizing.)

  2. AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The followings are the possible items to be customized.

    NOTE:
    • After confirming whether the items of the customer's request is applicable or not for the customized items, perform the customize operation.
    • Be sure to record the current value before customizing.
    • In case of performing the troubleshooting, pay attention as there is a possibility that the function is OFF by customizing. (Example: In case of the symptom in which "The wireless operation does not function", check that the wireless operation is not OFF by customizing, then perform the troubleshooting.)

    AIR CONDITIONER: 

    AIR CONDITIONER REFERENCE TABLE

    SET TEMP SHIFT (Set Temperature Shift) NORMAL To control with the shifted temperature against the display temperature. +2C / +1C / NORMAL / -1C / -2C
    AIR INLET MODE (Air Inlet Mode) AUTO In case of turning the A/C ON when you desire to make the compartment cool down quickly, this is the function to change the mode automatically to RECIRCULATED mode. AUTO / MANUAL
    COMPRESSOR MODE (Compressor Mode) AUTO Function to turn the A/C ON automatically by pressing the AUTO button when the blower is ON and the A/C is OFF. AUTO / MANUAL
    COMPRS/DEF OPER (Compressor/Air inlet DEF operation) LINK Function to turn the A/C ON automatically linking with the FRONT DEF button when the A/C OFF. LINK / NORMAL
    BUTTON PRS BUZ (Button press buzzer) ON Function to sound a buzzer when button is pressed. OFF / ON
    FOOT/DEF MODE (Foot/DEF auto mode) ON Function to turn the air flow from FOOT/DEF ON automatically when AUTO MODE is ON. ON / OFF

  3. THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • After confirming whether the items requested by the customer are applicable or not for customization, perform customizing operations.
    • Be sure to record the current settings before customization.
    • When troubleshooting, make sure that the item in question is not set to "OFF" as a result of customization (Example: For the system, "the wireless function does not operate", first check that the wireless function is not set to "OFF", then perform troubleshooting).

    THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM: 

    THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM REFERENCE

    WARN BY HORN (Warning by horn) ON Function that makes vehicle horn and theft deterrent horn be able to be used as a warning device ON/OFF
    PASSIVE MODE (Passive Arming Mode) OFF PASSIVE MODE is a function that switches theft deterrent system from arming preparation state to armed state 30 seconds after key is removed from ignition key cylinder and driver side door is closed, even if doors are not locked by wireless or door key lock operation
    In PASSIVE MODE, if you do not perform following operations within 14 seconds after door is opened during armed state, theft deterrent system will judge that condition as a theft and switch to alarm sounding state
    • Unlock any door by wireless operation
    • Reconnect battery
    • Insert key into ignition key cylinder and turn ignition switch from OFF to ON
    • Unlock any door by key operation
    ON/OFF
    ENTRY DELAY (Entry delay time) 14 s Function that changes entry delay time (time before warning starts) for PASSIVE MODE 0 s/14 s/30 s
  4. LIGHTING SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The followings are the possible items to be customized.

    NOTE:
    • After confirming whether the items of the customer's request is applicable or not for the customized items, perform the customize operation.
    • Be sure to record the current value before customizing.
    • In case of performing the troubleshooting, pay attention as there is a possibility that the function is OFF by customizing. (Example: In case of the symptom in which "The wireless operation does not function", check that the wireless operation is not OFF by customizing, then perform the troubleshooting.)

    ILLUMINATED ENTRY

    LIGHTING TIME (Lighting Time) 15 s To change the lighting time after closing the door. (It will quickly fade out in case of turning the ignition ON.) 7.5 s/ 15 s/ 30 s
    ILLUMI SYSTEM (Operation of illumination) ON Function to light up the step light, center console light and door inside handle light when one of the following occurs; the ignition turned ON, door unlock or door open. ON/OFF
    LIGHT CONTROL (Light control) ON Function to light up the step light and door inside handle light when the ignition switch is ON and the shift position is not P. ON/OFF
    I/L ON / UNLOCK (Interior light ON w/ door key unlock) ON Function to light up the interior light*, ignition light and step light when unlocking with the door key cylinder.
    *: Interior light comes on when the interior light switch is at the DOOR position.

    I/L ON / ACC OFF (Illumination system with ACC OFF) ON Function to light the interior light* and door courtesy light when the ignition switch is operated from "ACC" to "LOCK".

    LIGHT CONTROL

    LIGHT OFF DELAY (Light Auto OFF Delay) 30 s Function to keep on lighting the headlight for a certain period of time after closing all the doors with the ignition switch turned OFF from ON under the condition that the light control switch is at HEAD or AUTO with the headlight ON.     LIGHT CTRL TYPE (Control Type) CURRENT To change the control logic when the light control switch is AUTO position. Refer to ILLUSTRATION *1 REFERENCE TABLE . CURRENT / OLD

    HINT:

    Sensitivity adjustment can hardly be confirmed. Please check by customer's actual driving.

  5. WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • After confirming whether the items of the customer's request is applicable or not for the customized items, perform the customize operation.
    • Be sure to record the current value before customizing.
    • In case of performing the troubleshooting, pay attention as there is a possibility that the function is OFF by customizing.     WIPER 

    WIPER REFERENCE TABLE

    CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH INTELLIGENT TESTER (REFERENCE)

    • Be sure to record the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting, make sure that the item in question is not set to "OFF" as a result of customization.

  7. WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that customization of the function(s) is possible.
    • Be sure to record the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is not set to OFF.
    WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM REFERENCE

    Display (Item) Default Contents Setting
    OPEN DOOR WARN (Open door warning) ON If a door is not completely closed and LOCK is pressed, this function sounds a buzzer for 10 seconds. ON / OFF
    WIRLS BUZZ RESP (Buzzer answer-back of Wireless) ON This function makes the wireless door lock buzzer sound for answer-back when LOCK/ UNLOCK is pressed. ON/OFF
    WIRELESS OPER (Wireless door lock control function) ON This function turns the wireless door lock function on or off. ON/OFF
    ALARM FUNCTION (Panic function) ON This function operates the theft deterrent system when PANIC is pressed and held for 0.8 (*1) or 2.5 (*2) seconds. ON/OFF
    UNLOCK/2OPER (Wireless unlock operated twice) ON This function unlocks the driver side door when UNLOCK is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If set to OFF, pressing UNLOCK once unlocks all doors. ON/OFF
    AUTO LOCK DELAY (Auto lock time) 30 s This function controls the amount of time from unlocking doors to automatic re-locking. 30 S / 60 s
    HAZARD ANS BACK (Hazards answer-back for wireless door lock operation) ON When LOCK is pressed, all hazard warning lights flash once. When UNLOCK is pressed, all hazard warning lights flash twice. ON / OFF

    • (*2): without Power Back Door
  8. METER/GAUGE SYSTEM (Combination Meter Assembly) 
    NOTE: Be sure to record the current value before customizing.

    HINT:

    The following item can be customized without using the intelligent tester.

    METER/GAUGE SYSTEM REFERENCE TABLE

  9. METER/GAUGE SYSTEM (Seat Belt Buzzer ON/OFF Setting (Procedure "A")) 

    The seat belt buzzer ON/OFF setting, which is a setting of the buzzer function of the combination meter, can disable the driver and front passenger side seat belt buzzers.

    NOTE:
    • These buzzers should be on for safe driving. Perform these procedures only if it is necessary to set the buzzer off (disabled).
    • When either the battery cable or the combination meter connector is disconnected, these buzzers are set on (enabled).
    • Odometer returns to 0 after starting this procedure, although it is not displayed.

    HINT:

    "b-oFF" indicates that the buzzer is OFF. "b-on" indicates that the buzzer is ON. The seat belt buzzer ON/OFF setting will be finished (the odometer will display "ODO") if the ODO/TRIP switch is not operated for 10 seconds or more. In this case, perform step  11 to check that the buzzer ON/OFF setting is complete. If it is not complete, start from step  1 again.

    1. Driver and front passenger side seat belt buzzers
      1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
      2. Press the ODO/TRIP switch until the odometer displays "ODO".
      3. Turn the ignition switch off.
      4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
      5. Press the ODO/TRIP switch immediately (within 6 seconds) and hold it down for 10 seconds or more.
      6. Continue holding down the ODO/TRIP switch and fasten the driver side seat belt.
      7. Check that the odometer displays either "b-on" or "b-oFF".
      8. Press the ODO/TRIP switch to change the display to "b-oFF".
      9. Turn the ignition switch off.
      10. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. (11) Check that no buzzer sounds.
    2. Front passenger side seat belt buzzer
      1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
      2. Press the ODO/TRIP switch until the odometer displays "ODO".
      3. Turn the ignition switch off.
      4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
      5. Sit in the front passenger seat. Press the ODO/ TRIP switch immediately (within 6 seconds) and hold it down for 10 seconds or more.
      6. Sit in the front passenger seat. Continue holding down the ODO/TRIP switch and fasten the front passenger side seat belt.
      7. Check that the odometer displays either "b-on" or "b-oFF".
      8. Press the ODO/TRIP switch to change the display to "b-oFF".
      9. Turn the ignition switch off.
      10. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
      11. Check that no buzzer sounds.
  10. POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • After confirming whether the items requested by the customer are applicable or not for customization, perform customize operations.
    • Be sure to record the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting, make sure that the item in question is not set to "OFF" as a result of customization. (Example: For the symptom "the wireless function does not operate", first check that the wireless function is not set to "OFF", then perform troubleshooting).

    POWER WINDOW 

    POWER WINDOW REFERENCE TABLE

    UP/DOOR KEY (Door key linked P/W UP) AVIL Function that enables all power windows to move up manually, via manual operation, when driver side door key cylinder is held in lock position for 1.5 seconds when ignition switch is off. NOT/AVIL
    DOWN/DOOR KEY (Door key linked P/W DOWN) AVIL Function that enables all power windows to move down manually, via manual operation, when driver side door key cylinder is held in unlock position for 1.5 seconds when ignition switch is off. NOT/AVIL
    DOWN/WIRELESS (P/W DOWN w/ transmitter) AVIL Function that enables all power windows to move down manually, via manual operation, when unlock switch on transmitter is held for 1.5 seconds when ignition switch is off. NOT/AVIL
    UP/WIRELESS (P/W UP w/ transmitter) AVIL Function that enables all power windows to move up manually, via manual operation, when lock switch on transmitter is held for 1.5 seconds when ignition switch is off. NOT/AVIL
  11. POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • After confirming whether the items requested by the customer are applicable or not for customization, perform customize operations.
    • Be sure to record the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting, make sure that the item in question is not set to "OFF" as a result of customization.

    Power back door ECU

    WIRELS PBD OPER 0.8s Function that operates power back door when transmitter switch is pressed in specified way (1-press, 2-presses, 0.8 sec-press or OFF*1) ON/TWICE ON/0.8s/OFF
    PBD ASSIST OPN*2 OFF Function that helps power back door opening operation ON/OFF
    HINT:
    • *1: Wireless (transmitter switch) operation of the power back door is disabled.
    • *2: When this item is set to ON:

      When the back door is fully closed, pulling the back door opener switch (outside handle switch) activates the power back door system to automatically open the back door after that it is unlatched.
