Rear Speed Sensor: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
4. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE (See  REMOVAL  ) 
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
8. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH 
   1. Disconnect the sensor and HID connectors.
   2. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, and then disconnect the No. 2 and No. 3 clamps.
   3. Remove the resin clamp and clamp bolt, and then disconnect the HID connector.
   4. Remove the bolt and then disconnect the No. 1 clamp.
   5. Remove the bolt and sensor.
      NOTE: Keep the sensor tip free from foreign matter.
9. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH 
   1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
   2. Remove the nut, and then disconnect the No. 2 clamp.

   3. Remove the bolt and sensor.
      NOTE: Keep the sensor tip free from foreign matter.
