Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly: Installation
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the Standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).
- INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
- Install the seat belt with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 7.5 N*m (77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) for upper bolt
42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) for lower bolt
- Install the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) for lower bolt
NOTE: Make sure that the anchor part does not run onto the protruding part. - With the belt installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.NOTE: The check should be performed with the outer belt installed.
If the operation is not as specified, replace the belt.
- Install the seat belt with the 2 bolts.
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT
- Install the luggage compartment trim cover with the 12 clips.
- Install the tonneau cover with the 2 nuts.
- Attach the 2 caps.
- INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK BOARD
- Install the seatback board with the 2 clips.
- Install the bolt.

- INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
- INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER (See INSTALLATION )
- REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
