How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use this procedure to troubleshoot the active engine mounting system.
• Techstream should be used in steps  2,  6 and  7.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard Voltage: 

   11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

4. CHECK AND CLEAR DTCS 
   1. Refer to the DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
5. VISUAL INSPECTION 
6. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST 
   1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
   2. Start the engine.
   3. Select the item "Powertrain / E-ACM / Active Test / Check the E-ACM".
7. CHECK FOR DTC 
   1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
   2. Delete the DTC.
   3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.

8. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING 
   1. Terminals of ECU (See TERMINALS OF ECU  ).
9. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
10. CONFIRMATION TEST
