Active Control Engine Mount: Installation

  1. INSTALL ACTIVE CONTROL ENGINE MOUNT 
    1. Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (81 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)

    2. Install the active control engine mount with the 3 nuts.

      Torque: 52 N*m (530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET FR 
    1. Install the engine mounting bracket FR with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: Automatic Transaxle Side 

      64 N*m (653 kgf*cm, 47 ft.*lbf) 

      Active Engine Mounting Side 

      87 N*m (887 kgf*cm, 64 ft.*lbf)

    2. Connect the earth cable with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

    3. Connect the 2 connectors and clamp.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )

  7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 
  9. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 
  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
