Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the engine coolant temperature sensor.
    2. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See INSTALLATION ).
  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION   ) 
  5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See Drain or Add coolant under ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  7. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  8. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 
  12. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
