Knock Sensor, Intake Manifold: Inspection

  1. INSPECT KNOCK SENSOR 
    1. Check the resistance
      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Standard resistance 

        STANDARD RESISTANCE

        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        1 (Ground) - 2 (Output) 120 to 280 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the knock sensor.
