Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard Voltage

STANDARD VOLTAGE

Tester Connection	Wire Color	Terminal Description	Condition	Specified Condition
J58-3 (RDFG) - J58-20 (GND)	B - W-B	Rear Defogger Signal	Engine switch on (IG) Rear defogger switch OFF	11 to 14 V

Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard Resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE

Tester Connection	Wire Color	Terminal Description	Condition	Specified Condition
J58-20 (GND) - Body ground	W-B - Body ground	Ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
