On-Vehicle Inspection
- INSPECT STOP LIGHT CONTROL RELAY (BRK-LP)
- Remove the stop light control BRK-LP relay.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCETester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω 3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 4 Battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 5 Battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω If the value is not as specified, replace the stop light control BRK-LP relay
- INSPECT ABS MOTOR RELAY (ABS MOTOR1 (FAIL SAFE))
- Remove the ABS MOTOR1 (fail safe) relay.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

STANDARD RESISTANCETester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 5 Battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω If the value is not as specified, replace the ABS MOTOR1 (fail safe) relay.
- INSPECT ABS MOTOR RELAY (ABS MOTOR3)
- Remove the ABS MOTOR3 relay
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
Standard Resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCETester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 5 Battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω If the value is not as specified, replace the ABS MOTOR3 relay.
- INSPECT ABS SOLENOID RELAY (ABS SOL)
- Remove the ABS SOL relay.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCETester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 5 Battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω If the value is not as specified, replace the ABS SOL relay.
