On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream ON.
    4. Enter the following menus. Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Accelerator Position No. 1 and accelerator Position No. 2.
    5. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

      Standard Voltage 

      ITEM SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Item Condition Specified Condition
      Accelerator Position No. 1 Accelerator pedal is released 0.5 to 1 1 V
      Accelerator pedal is fully depressed 2.6 to 4.5 V

      Standard Voltage 

      ITEM SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Item Condition Specified Condition
      Accelerator Position No 2 Accelerator pedal is released 1.2 to 20 V
      Accelerator pedal is fully depressed 3.4 to 5.0 V

      If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness or ECM
