Heated Oxygen Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENS OR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 
    1. Using SST, Install the heated oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe assembly.

      SST 09224-00010 

      Torque: without SST 

      44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) 

      with SST 

      40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)

      NOTE:
      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using SST with a fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.).
      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.) (See REPAIR INSTRUCTION ).
      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.
    2. Install the grommet to the vehicle.
    3. Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector
    4. Install the front floor silencer pad LH.

  2. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 
    1. Using SST, Install the heated oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe assembly.

      SST 09224-00010 

      Torque: without SST 

      44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) 

      with SST 

      40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using SST with a fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.).
      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.) (See REPAIR INSTRUCTION ).

      • The "with SST" torque vale e is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.
    2. Install the grommet to the vehicle
    3. Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector
    4. Install the front floor silencer pad RH

  3. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH  (See INSTALLATION )
