Fuel Pressure Sensor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR 
    1. Check the fuel pressure sensor output voltage
      1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage 

        VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 - 3 5 V applied between terminals 1 (VC) and 3 (E2) 0.5 V

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel pressure sensor.

        HINT

        The above voltage is output when no pressure is applied to the sensor
