Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK COMBINATION METER

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J35-3 (PBLT) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      J35-3 (PBLT) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is unfastened Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the meter may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o NAVIGATION SYSTEM)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J54-13 (PBEW) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      J54-13 (PBEW) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is unfastened Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the panel may have a malfunction

  3. CHECK CLOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ NAVIGATION SYSTEM)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      J53-8 (PBEW) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      J53-8 (PBEW) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is unfastened Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the clock assembly may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  5. CHECK OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU 
    1. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
