HINT: If a DTC is displayed during the DTC check, check the parts listed in the table below and proceed to the "See" given If multiple suspected areas are listed, the potential causes of the symptoms are listed in order of probability in the "Trouble Area" column of the table 1. "Comes on" means the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminates 2. "DTC stored" means the TCM memorizes the malfunction code if the TCM detects the DTC detection condition. These DTCs may be output when clutches, brakes, gear components, etc., inside the automatic transmission are damaged.
