Pattern Select Switch: Inspection

INSPECT NO. 1 PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
1 (E) - 6 (P)	Press continuously Pattern select switch (SPORT)	Below 1 Ω
1 (E) - 6 (P)	Release Pattern select switch (SPORT)	10 kΩ or higher
1 (E) - 3 (2ND)	Press continuously Pattern select switch (SNOW)	Below 1 Ω
1 (E) - 3 (2ND)	Release Pattern select switch (SNOW)	10 kΩ or higher

If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch.
