Brake Control Power Supply: Installation
NOTE:
While the battery is connected, even if the engine switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or the door courtesy switch turns on. Therefore during servicing of the brake system components, do not operate the brake pedal and open/close the doors while the battery is connected.
- INSTALL NO. 1 BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY BRACKET
- Install the 2 brackets with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)
- Install the 2 brackets with the 4 bolts.
- INSTALL BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY
- Connect the connector to the brake control power supply.
- Install the brake control power supply with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
- INSTALL BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY COVER
- If the brake control power supply is replaced, install a new cover as follows:
- Peel off the peeling paper of the double-sided tape.
- Place the cover so that the 4 corner lines on the cover align with the corners of the brake control power supply, and so that the cover arrow is above the connector.
- If the brake control power supply is replaced, install a new cover as follows:

- INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (See INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH (See INSTALLATION )
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform initialization (see

).NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

- CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
- Check and clear the DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
