- Fuel Injection Control (Independent Injection Type)
The engine control module outputs an injection signal to the injector after the basic injection time has been calculated which is based on the engine condition and is corrected according to the engine coolant temperature sensor signal.
- Ignition Control
The engine control module outputs an ignition signal to the igniter after the basic ignition time has been calculated which is based on the engine condition and is corrected according to the engine coolant temperature sensor signal.
- Engine Speed Control
An electronic throttle control system has been adopted, which conducts first idle speed control according to the engine coolant temperature and idle speed control after warm-up.
- Diagnosis Control
Sensor and actuator malfunctions are diagnosed, and the fail-safe function is activated, based on the input and output signals of ECU.
