Fuel Pressure Sensor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR 
    1. Check the fuel pressure sensor output voltage.
      1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard voltage 

        STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 - 3 Apply 5 V between terminals 1 (VC) and 3 (E2) Approximately 0.5 V

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel pressure sensor.

        HINT:

        The above voltage is output when pressure is not applied (0 kPa (0 kgf/cm2 )) to the sensor.
