Engine Control System - Circuit Tests, Component Removal, Inspection & Installation: ECM: Installation

INSTALL ECM
1. Install the 2 ECM brackets with the 4 screws
2. Install the ECM with the 2 nuts
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

3. Connect the 6 ECM connectors.
CONNECT NO. 2 CONNECTOR HOLDER
1. Attach the 2 claws to connect the connector holder.
2. Connect the 2 engine wire connectors.
INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
1. Install the ECU with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

2. Connect the 4 ECU connectors
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER
1. Install the ECU cover with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP (See INSPECTION )
INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
