Knock Sensor: Removal

HINT:

When viewed from the rear of the engine assembly, Bank 1 is on the left side and Bank 2 is on the right side.

1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD 
   1. Remove the intake manifold (See REMOVAL ).
2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
5. REMOVE NO. 4 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
6. REMOVE SEPARATOR CASE 
   1. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.

   2. Remove the 4 bolts and separator case.

7. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR 
   1. Disconnect the 4 sensor connectors.
   2. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 sensors.
