How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the window defogger system.
• *: Use the Techstream.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
   1. Check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ).

      OK: CAN DTC is not output. 

   NG: Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM )

   OK: Go to next step 

4. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
   1. Refer to the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See ).
