Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the sensor.
    2. Using a 19 mm deep socked wrench, install the sensor.

      Torque: 20 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the sensor connector.

  2. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT )
  3. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK  (See COOLING SYSTEM )
  4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See INSTALLATION )
