How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:

- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
- CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LARGE-SCALE BODY MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)*
- Use the Techstream to check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally.

- Use the Techstream to check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally.
- CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)*
- Use the Techstream to check for normal functioning of the CAN communication system.
B: GO to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A: Go to Next Step
- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTC and note any codes that are output.
- Clear the DTC.
- Recheck for DTC. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.
