Floor Shift Assembly: Inspection
- INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH
- Measure the resistance between each terminal of the shift lock control unit assembly when the shift lever is moved to each position.
Standard resistance

1 (SFTD) - 5 (E)10 kΩ or higher Press continuously "-" (Down Shift) 1 (SFTD) - 5 (E) Below 1 Ω
- Measure the resistance between each terminal of the shift lock control unit assembly when the shift lever is moved to each position.
- INSPECT NO. 1 PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTSwitch Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition PWRON 7 (P) - 3 (E) Below 1 Ω PWR OFF 7 (P) - 3 (E) 10 kΩ or higher Release Pattern Select Switch (SNOW) 1 (2ND) - 3 (E) 10 kΩ or higher Press Continuously Pattern Select Switch (SNOW) 1 (2ND) - 3 (E) Below 1 Ω - Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 2 (ILL+) and the battery's negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (ILL-). Then check the illumination of the switch.
OK:
The illumination turns on.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in table below.
