Accelerator Pedal: Installation

INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL
NOTE:
- Avoid physical shocks to the accelerator pedal.
- Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal assembly.
1. Connect the tip of the accelerator pedal rod to the bracket.
2. Install the accelerator pedal with the 3 nuts.
  Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

3. Connect the accelerator pedal sensor connector.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH (See INSTALLATION )
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
