Throttle Body: Inspection

INSPECT THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

Check that the throttle valve opens and closes smoothly.
Check that the there is no sludge accumulating around the throttle body.

Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1 (M-) - 2 (M+)	20°C (68°F)	0.3 to 100 Ω
3 (E2) - 5 (VC)	20°C (68°F)	2.0 to 4.0 kΩ

If the result is not as specified, replace the throttle body assembly.
