Engine Control System - System Testing; Component Inspection, Removal & Installation: ECM: Installation
- INSTALL ECM
- Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
- Connect the 6 ECM connectors.
- Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
- CONNECT NO. 2 CONNECTOR HOLDER
- Attach the 2 claws to connect the connector holder.
- Connect the 2 engine wire connectors.
- INSTALL TCM
- Install the TCM with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
- Connect the 4 TCM connectors.
- Install the TCM with the 2 nuts.
- INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER
- Install the engine room ECU cover with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
- Install the engine room ECU cover with the 3 bolts.
- INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH (See INSTALLATION )
- PERFORM RESET MEMORY NOTE: Perform the RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM.

HINT:
Initialization cannot be completed by only removing the battery.
