Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
  4. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
  5. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 12
  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 24
  7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 5
  8. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Remove the sensor.
    3. Remove the gasket from the sensor.
